RRB Group D Vacancy: A significant announcement has been made regarding the recruitment for 2000 RRB Group D positions within the Indian Railways. The Railway Recruitment Board has decided to delay the application process. Initially set to commence on January 21st, the new start date is now January 31st.


As per the updated timeline from the Railway Recruitment Board, the registration window will be open from January 31st until March 2nd, closing at 11:59 PM. Interested candidates can submit their applications online through the official website.


Update Your Aadhaar Card and Photo


Candidates are urged to ensure their Aadhaar card details and photographs are current before the application period begins. It is essential that the name and date of birth on the Aadhaar card correspond with those on the 10th-grade certificate. The commission has previously advised candidates to confirm their basic information against their Aadhaar while completing the online application. Failure to verify with Aadhaar may result in delays throughout the recruitment process due to additional verification requirements.


Eligibility Criteria for RRB Group D


The specific eligibility requirements for the RRB Group D recruitment have not been clearly outlined in the brief notification. Zone-wise RRB Group D Vacancies

The Engineering department has the largest number of vacancies in this Group D recruitment, with a total of 12,500 positions approved. Out of these, 11,000 positions are specifically for Track Maintainer Grade-4, along with 5000 vacancies for Traffic Point B and 1500 for Assistant (S&T).
