The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay has announced an extension for the correction period of the Joint Admission Test (JAM) 2026 application forms for Master's degree programs. Candidates now have until November 13, 2026, to make necessary adjustments to their JAM 2026 applications. This is an extension from the previous deadline of November 10, 2025.
Correction Fees
Candidates are required to pay a correction fee of ₹300 for each change made to their application. This includes modifications to gender, category, date of birth, or exam center. It is advisable for all applicants to finalize their corrections before the deadline to prevent any last-minute issues.
Steps to Make Corrections
To amend the application form, candidates should follow these steps:
1. Visit the official website at jam2026.iitb.ac.in.
2. Click on the 'Application Correction' link available on the homepage.
3. Make the required corrections and pay the correction fee.
4. After submitting the changes, print a copy of the corrected application.
Exam Schedule
The JAM 2026 examination is scheduled to take place on February 15, 2026. It will be held in two shifts: the first from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM and the second from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. The exam will cover seven subjects, and candidates must appear for two papers.
This examination aims to fill approximately 3000 postgraduate seats across 22 IITs.
