Overview of the Training Program

The Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS) in Dehradun, affiliated with the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), is set to host an online training course titled 'AI/ML for Hydro-informatics'. This initiative aims to explore the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) in the management of water resources.

Training Delivery Method

The program will be delivered through live, interactive online sessions. Participants can access these sessions via the IIRS YouTube channel. A daily schedule will be provided on the ISRO Learning Management System (LMS). Upon registration, attendees will receive login credentials to access the LMS, which will include course guidelines, announcements, recorded sessions, attendance tracking, quizzes, feedback options, and certification information.

Participation Requirements

Daily quizzes will be mandatory for all participants, and their engagement will be monitored through the LMS. The system will evaluate each participant's dedication to the course based on metrics such as time spent on video content, quiz participation, and feedback submissions. Regular activity on the LMS is essential for tracking progress throughout the training.

Certification Details

Upon fulfilling the minimum training requirements, participants will receive a 'Course Participation' certificate, which can be downloaded from ISRO's e-Class LMS. It is crucial for participants to consistently engage with the LMS to ensure their participation is accurately recorded.

Application Process

Interested candidates can apply through ISRO's official website at isrolms.irs.gov.in/edusatregistration until October 4, 2026. The training sessions are scheduled from October 5 to October 10.
