ICAI Campus Placement 2026: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has unveiled the schedule for its campus placement initiative aimed at candidates who successfully completed the CA Final examination in May 2026. This year's placement drive promises to be more extensive than previous iterations, featuring campus interviews in 29 cities across the country, with 78 prominent companies offering a total of 5,339 job openings.


Key Cities for Recruitment

Major metropolitan areas such as Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, and Ahmedabad will act as primary hubs for this recruitment drive. The Institute emphasizes that this initiative will enable newly qualified Chartered Accountants to kickstart their careers with some of the nation's top firms.

6,399 Candidates Registered


Out of 7,931 candidates who passed the CA Final examination in May 2026, 6,399 newly qualified Chartered Accountants have signed up for the campus placement process.

ICAI President CA Prasanna Kumar D has announced several new initiatives aimed at enhancing the effectiveness and transparency of the placement process. These include a technology-driven recruitment system, better coordination with employers, orientation programs for candidates, psychometric and aptitude assessments, career counseling, and skill development programs tailored to industry requirements. He believes these measures will assist companies in finding qualified professionals while providing new Chartered Accountants with improved career opportunities.


Previous Placement Success

**Packages of up to ₹27.50 lakh in the previous placement drive**


The Institute reported that over 2,570 candidates were selected during the 63rd campus placement program held in April–May 2026. The highest domestic annual package reached ₹27.50 lakh, while the average annual CTC (Cost to Company) for selected candidates was approximately ₹13 lakh. Given this context, a significant number of new Chartered Accountants are anticipated to secure positions with esteemed companies at competitive salaries this time as well.
