New Opportunity for Aspiring Bank Professionals



Individuals looking to build a career in the government banking sector have a new opportunity to apply. The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has announced an extension for the online application deadline for the positions of Office Assistant (Multipurpose) and Officer (Scale I, II & III) in Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) throughout India.

Revised Application Deadline

The previous deadline of 21 September 2025 has now been pushed to 28 September 2025. Candidates who have not yet submitted their applications are encouraged to do so promptly via the official IBPS website.


Available Positions

A total of 13,294 job openings have been made available, detailed as follows:



  • Office Assistant (Clerk): 8,022 positions


  • Officer Scale-I (PO): 3,928 positions


  • Officer Scale-II (General Banking Officer): 1,142 positions


  • Officer Scale-II (Specialist): 220 positions, which include:



    • 87 IT Officers


    • 69 Chartered Accountants


    • 48 Law Officers


    • 16 Treasury Managers




Steps to Apply

To apply, follow these steps:



  1. Visit the official IBPS website.


  2. Click on the IBPS RRB Recruitment 2025 Registration link.


  3. Enter your registration details and log in.


  4. Fill out the application form with the necessary information.


  5. Pay the application fee and submit your application.


  6. Print a copy of the submitted application for your records.



Application Fees


  • SC/ST and PwD candidates: ₹175 (only processing fee)


  • Other candidates: ₹850



Selection Procedure


  • Officer Scale-I: Candidates will undergo Prelims, Mains, and an Interview.


  • Office Assistant: Selection will involve Prelims and Mains.


  • Officer Scale-II & III: Candidates will face a Written Exam followed by an Interview.
