Gujarat PSC Veterinary Officer Recruitment 2025

Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC) has announced the Veterinary Officer Recruitment for 2025. This initiative aims to fill 70 Class-II Veterinary Officer roles. Interested applicants can submit their applications via the official online portal. The application window closes on December 13, 2025, at 11:59 PM.

The recruitment will allocate positions as follows: 33 for the General category, 7 for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), 18 for Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (SEBC), 4 for Scheduled Castes (SC), and 8 for Scheduled Tribes (ST).

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must possess a B.V.Sc. & AH or B.V.Sc./AH degree from a recognized Indian university.

The degree should be acknowledged by the Veterinary Council of India (VCI).

Basic computer skills are required as per Gujarat Rules 1967.

Candidates should have a good command of Gujarati or Hindi.

Selected candidates will need to register with either the Gujarat Veterinary Council or the Indian Veterinary Council.

Age Relaxation: Unreserved female candidates from Gujarat will benefit from a 5-year age relaxation. Similarly, candidates from EWS, SEBC, SC, and ST categories of Gujarat origin will also receive a 5-year relaxation. Female candidates from these categories will enjoy a 10-year relaxation, with a maximum age limit of 45 years. Ex-servicemen (including ECOs/SSCOs) will receive an additional 3 years of age relaxation, plus their military service duration.

Salary Structure: Selected candidates will earn a monthly salary between ₹44,900 and ₹1,42,400, classified under Pay Matrix Level 8.
