Bihar: The government of Bihar has launched a complimentary skill development training initiative aimed at enhancing employment prospects for young individuals in technical sectors. Currently, the Department of Industries, Bihar, is accepting applications for two distinct courses: Repair & Maintenance Assistant (Smartphones) and Product Assembly Assistant (Solar-LED).

Both training programs are offered at no cost, and participants will receive free meals and lodging. A caution deposit of Rs 1,000 is required upon enrollment, which will be refunded upon successful completion of the training.

Repair & Maintenance Assistant (Smartphones): Smartphone Repair Course
The duration of this course is set at 330 hours. Participants will enjoy complimentary food and accommodation throughout the training period. The Rs 1,000 caution deposit will be returned after the course concludes.

To qualify for this course, candidates must have completed at least the 10th grade or possess an equivalent qualification. Those who have passed the 8th grade may also apply if they have three years of relevant experience. Additionally, individuals holding NSQF Level 2 certification with a minimum of one and a half years of experience are eligible.

Product Assembly Assistant (Solar-LED): Solar-LED Course
This course also spans 330 hours and offers free meals and accommodation. The Rs 1,000 caution deposit will similarly be refunded upon course completion.

Admission requires candidates to have completed the 10th grade or an equivalent level of education. Candidates who have passed the 8th grade with three years of experience, or those with NSQF Level 2 certification and one and a half years of experience, can also apply. Furthermore, individuals with two years of NTC and an 8th-grade education, as well as students who have taken vocational subjects in regular schooling, are eligible for this training.
