What happens after passing the NDA?

Upon successful completion of the NDA, candidates will undergo rigorous training, leading to their commissioning as officers in the Indian Army, Navy, or Air Force. They will start their careers at the rank of Lieutenant, with opportunities to rise through the ranks to Captain, Major, Lieutenant Colonel, Colonel, Brigadier, Major General, and Lieutenant General. During their training, candidates receive a monthly stipend of approximately ₹56,100, which continues upon commissioning.
