Who Can Apply?

Candidates interested in applying for the Constable (GD) roles must have completed Class 10 from a recognized educational institution in India. The upper age limit for applicants is 35 years, with age relaxation available for individuals from reserved categories as per regulations.

Additionally, applicants must have a minimum of three years of experience working with the SSB as of January 1, 2026.

Selection Process

How Will Selection Be Conducted?

The selection process will include several stages: a Physical Standard Test (PST), a Physical Endurance Test (PET), a Written Examination, Document Verification, a Detailed Medical Examination (DME), and a Review Medical Examination (RME).

The written exam will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions, totaling 100 marks, covering topics such as General Awareness, Mathematics, and Analytical Aptitude. To pass, candidates from the General category must achieve at least 35% marks, while those from SC, ST, and OBC categories need a minimum of 33%.
