Eligibility Criteria for Railway Apprenticeship

To qualify for this apprenticeship, candidates must have completed their 10th grade (10+2) from a recognized board with at least 50% marks and possess an ITI certificate. The recruitment is available in various trades including:



  • Fitter


  • Turner


  • Electrician


  • Welder


  • Mechanic


  • Machinist


  • Painter


  • AC Mechanic


  • Cable Jointer/Crane Operator


  • Carpenter


  • Lineman



Applicants must be at least 15 years old and not exceed 24 years of age as of January 1, 2026. Age relaxation will be provided for candidates from reserved categories as per government regulations.

  3. Fill in your name, email address, and mobile number. After submitting the OTP, a registration number will be generated.


  4. Use this OTP to register again on the website.


  5. Upload a recent JPG/JPEG photo (not older than 3 months).


  6. Upload your signature in the specified format.


  7. Pay the application fee and print the final submitted form for your records.



Application Fee Details

The application fee is set at ₹100, which is non-refundable. However, candidates belonging to the SC/ST categories are exempt from this fee and can apply free of charge.
