New Delhi: A significant announcement has been made for young individuals preparing for government jobs in the nursing sector from Uttarakhand. The Uttarakhand Medical Service Selection Board (UKMSSB) has released a notification for the recruitment of Nursing Officers in the Department of Medical Health and Family Welfare. This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 196 vacant positions, presenting a golden opportunity for candidates aspiring to build a stable and respected career in the health sector.

Details of the 196 Positions

Out of the total 196 positions, separate seats have been allocated for female and male candidates. Specifically, 157 positions are reserved for female Nursing Officers, while 39 positions are designated for male candidates. These positions are also categorized based on the qualifications of diploma and degree holders.

Attractive Salary Package

Selected candidates will receive a salary under Pay Matrix Level 7, with monthly earnings starting from ₹44,900 and going up to ₹1,42,400, making this recruitment financially appealing.

Eligibility Criteria and Age Limit

Applicants must possess a degree in GNM, B.Sc Nursing, B.Sc (Honors) Nursing, or Post Basic B.Sc Nursing from a program recognized by the Indian Nursing Council (INC). Additionally, permanent registration with the Uttarakhand Nursing and Midwifery Council is mandatory. The age limit for applicants is set between 21 and 42 years.

Selection Process and Application Fees

Candidates will be selected based on a written examination consisting of 200 objective questions. Following the exam, document verification and a medical test will be conducted. The application fee is ₹300 for general and OBC candidates, while it is ₹150 for SC, ST, EWS, and differently-abled candidates.
