Bihar's education department is preparing to launch the TRB-4 recruitment process in July, aiming to fill 20,000 teaching positions initially. Education Minister Mithilesh Tiwari has assured candidates that this recruitment will be significant, with plans for 100,000 teachers to be hired over the next five years. This initiative will not only allow students to complete their studies without long waits but also provide opportunities for those who previously missed out to improve and retake exams. With 250,000 teachers already appointed, the total is expected to rise to 680,000 by 2030. Candidates are encouraged to prepare as the official notification could be released soon.

For those dreaming of becoming teachers in Bihar, there is promising news. The recruitment process for TRB-4 is set to commence in July. Following the release of the notification, the education department is currently finalizing preparations. Bihar's Education Minister has confirmed that the application process will definitely start in July, and necessary instructions have been issued to the officials.


Insights from the Education Minister

Education Minister Mithilesh Tiwari shared details regarding the teacher recruitment, stating that approximately 46,000 teachers will be hired through TRB-4. However, initially, around 20,000 positions will be filled. According to the minister, students will need to wait a bit longer for this process. He assured that this time, a sufficient number of vacancies will be available, ensuring that deserving candidates are not left disappointed.


Annual Vacancies to be Introduced

The state government has devised a long-term strategy aiming to recruit 100,000 teachers over the next five years. Under this plan, around 20,000 teachers will be recruited each year. The education minister noted that this approach has two significant benefits. Firstly, students will be able to complete their studies annually without prolonged waiting for recruitment. Secondly, those who were not selected previously will have the opportunity to improve their skills and retake the exams.


Massive Recruitment Planned

According to the education minister, large-scale teacher appointments have occurred in the last three phases, with approximately 250,000 teachers already recruited. This has brought the total number of government teachers in Bihar to around 580,000. With the new planning, the government aims to increase this number to 680,000 by 2030. It is reported that preparations at the departmental level are in the final stages, so candidates should intensify their preparations as the advertisement could be released anytime in July.
