Eligibility Criteria

**Who Can Apply?**


Candidates must be domiciled in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir and possess a valid domicile certificate issued before October 9, 2026. Educational qualifications vary by position. For instance:



  • Junior Staff Nurse: Matriculation (10th grade) or higher with Science subjects, plus a General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) diploma.


  • Junior Pharmacist: 10+2 (Science) with a degree or diploma in Pharmacy.


  • Health Educator: Graduate with Science subjects.


  • Junior Lab Assistant: Graduate in Science, with preference for those holding a PG Diploma in a professional lab course.


  • Horticulture Technician Grade-IV: 10+2 with one year of basic horticulture training.


  • Supervisor: Matriculation or equivalent qualification.



All educational qualifications must be completed by October 9, 2026.


Age Limit

**Age Requirements**


Age will be calculated as of January 1, 2026:



  • General (OM): Maximum 40 years.


  • SC, ST, RBA, ALC/IB, EWS, OBC: Maximum 43 years.


  • PwD (Divyang) candidates: Maximum 42 years.


  • Ex-servicemen will receive age relaxation as per regulations.



Selection Process

**Selection Methodology**


Candidates will undergo a written (OMR-based) objective examination. The question paper will be in English, featuring Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). A penalty of 0.25 marks will be imposed for incorrect answers. Those who pass the written test will be invited for document verification.


Special Provisions for PwBD Candidates


PwD (Divyang) candidates will have access to a scribe (writing assistant) as per guidelines. Eligible candidates will also receive an additional 20 minutes per hour during the exam. The scribe's educational qualifications must be lower than those of the candidate, and they cannot be a candidate for the same exam or a relative.
