New Delhi: If you're aspiring for a government job in Uttar Pradesh, now is your chance! The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has announced two significant recruitment notifications for the positions of Research Assistant (Engineering) and Assistant Town Planner.

  • There are a total of 11 vacancies - 8 for Assistant Town Planner and 3 for Research Assistant.


  • Assistant Town Planner: 4 for OBC, 4 for SC


  • Research Assistant: 2 for General, 1 for OBC



Eligibility Criteria

Qualifications Required


Research Assistant (Engineering): Candidates must possess a B.Tech degree or a diploma with AMIE qualification from a recognized university or institution.


Assistant Town Planner: Candidates with a degree or postgraduate diploma in Urban and Rural Planning (T & C Planning) are eligible. Those qualified from the Institute of Planners, American Institute of Town Planners, or Institute of Town Planners (London) can also apply.


Age Limit

Age Requirements


Applicants must be between 21 and 40 years old as of July 1, 2025. This means candidates born before July 2, 1985, or after July 1, 2004, are not eligible.


Salary Package

Salary Structure



  • Assistant Town Planner: ₹15,600 – ₹39,100 (Pay Level 10)


  • Research Assistant: ₹44,900 – ₹1,42,400 (Pay Level 7)
