If you aspire to serve your country and have a passion for sports, the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has announced a fantastic recruitment opportunity. They are looking to fill 521 positions for Head Constables and GD Constables, with the official advertisement recently released. The vacancies include 182 posts for Head Constable GD and 339 posts for Constable GD, offering attractive monthly pay scales. The deadline for applications is November 11, 2026.

Eligibility Criteria for Head Constable

Candidates must have completed their 12th grade from a recognized board or possess an equivalent qualification. For ex-army personnel, relevant military qualifications are required. Additionally, candidates should have represented the country in international sports competitions or participated in National Games/Championships, achieving at least a third-place finish. Gold or silver medals in Junior National Level Games or Inter-University tournaments are also acceptable.

Eligibility Criteria for Constable (GD)

Applicants should have passed the 10th grade. They must have participated in Junior or Senior National Games Championships or earned medals in National Sports State School Teams or CGAAPI School Games. A third-place finish in the Khelo India Youth Games or Khelo India Winter Games is also valid, along with representation in Inter-University tournaments.

Age Requirements

Candidates must be between 18 and 23 years old, with birth dates falling between January 2, 2003, and January 1, 2008. The age calculation will be based on August 1, 2026. Sports persons may receive an additional age relaxation of up to 5 years, along with other reservations.

Salary Structure

Selected candidates will receive salaries as per the 7th Pay Commission, along with house rent allowance, dearness allowance, and other benefits according to CRPF regulations.

Head Constable (General Duty) Sports Persons - Level-04 - Monthly salary ranging from ₹25,500 to ₹81,100.

Constable (General Duty) Sports Persons - Monthly salary ranging from ₹21,700 to ₹69,100.

Selection Process

The selection for the CRPF Sports Quota recruitment will involve document verification, identity checks, physical standard tests, sports trials, and medical examinations. Notably, there will be no written exam as part of this recruitment process.

Candidates can apply once the application window opens. General/OBC/EWS candidates are required to pay an application fee of ₹100, while women, SC/ST, and ex-servicemen are exempt from any fees.
