The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is offering a remarkable opportunity for those looking to contribute to the nation's space endeavors. The Telemetry, Tracking and Command Network (ISTRAC) has announced a recruitment drive for multiple Group A and Group B positions, providing a significant chance for young individuals to secure a government role within the Department of Space.

Key Dates and Application Process

As per the recruitment notification released on June 27, 2026, interested candidates can start submitting their applications online from June 3, 2026. The last date for application submissions is July 20, 2026, with the examination date to be confirmed later.

Eligibility requirements for each position are as follows:



  • Technician-B: ITI certificate in the relevant trade is essential.


  • Technical Assistant: An engineering diploma in the relevant field is required.


  • Scientific Assistant: A B.Sc. degree in the relevant subject with a minimum of 60% marks is necessary.


  • Library Assistant-A: A Master's degree in Library Science is mandatory.


  • Cook-A: Relevant field experience is required.



Age Limit and Relaxations

Candidates must be aged between 18 and 35 years as of July 20, 2026. Age relaxations will be provided for candidates belonging to reserved categories as per government regulations.

Application Fees and Refund Policy

For Technical Assistant: The application fee is ₹750 for all candidates. However, UR, OBC, and EWS candidates will receive a refund of ₹500 after taking the Computer-Based Test (CBT). Full refunds will be issued to SC, ST, PwD, and female candidates.


For Technician Post: The application fee is ₹500 for all categories. After the exam, UR, OBC, and EWS candidates will get a refund of ₹400, while SC, ST, PwD, and female candidates will receive a full refund.
