CBIC Recruitment 2025: A fantastic opportunity awaits young job seekers in the Customs Department. The Customs Commissioner's Office has initiated recruitment for various positions, including Tradesman and Seaman. The official advertisement has been published, and the application process commenced on November 8th.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Customs Department Jobs:
To qualify for the Tradesman role, candidates must possess an ITI certificate in one of the following trades: Mechanic, Diesel, Fitter, Turner, Welder, Electrician, Instrument, or Carpentry. Additionally, a 10th-grade or equivalent qualification is necessary, along with two years of relevant experience in an engineering, automobile, or ship repair organization.


For the Seaman and Greaser positions, candidates need a 10th-grade qualification and three years of relevant experience. The Senior Storekeeper role requires a 10th-grade pass with eight years of storekeeping experience. Detailed eligibility criteria can be found in the recruitment notification.


Age Limit and Salary

Age Limit: Candidates should be between 25 to 30 years old, depending on the position.
Salary: Selected individuals will earn a monthly salary ranging from ₹19,900 to ₹92,300, in accordance with the 7th CPC.
Selection Process: The selection will involve a written examination, a physical efficiency test (PET), and a medical fitness assessment.
