The Ministry of Finance has unveiled a fantastic opportunity for youth aspiring to secure government positions. The Department of Economic Affairs (DEA) is looking to fill 57 contract-based roles. Selected candidates will earn a monthly salary between Rs. 70,000 and Rs. 1.5 lakh. These roles are available across various departments, including Infrastructure, Budget, Financial Markets, and International Economic Relations (IER).


Required Educational Qualifications

Candidates must possess a Master's degree in Economics, Finance, or IT. Additionally, those with an MBA in Finance or an LLM degree are also eligible. The IER department is specifically seeking 6 senior advisors to support India's BRICS chairmanship, tasked with organizing meetings and preparing necessary documentation.


Salary Structure

Young Professional Positions: Fresh graduates and individuals with limited experience can apply, with an age limit of 30 years. The salary for these roles is set at Rs. 70,000.


Consultant Positions: Candidates with 3 to 5 years of experience will earn Rs. 1,00,000.


Senior Consultant Positions: Those with 5 to 9 years of experience will receive Rs. 1,20,000.


Special Assignment Consultant Positions: Candidates with project-based experience can earn up to Rs. 1,50,000.


Key Details to Remember

This is a full-time contract role, initially lasting for one year, with the possibility of extension based on performance. An individual cannot hold the same position for more than three years or work in the department for over five years in total. Employees will receive only 8 holidays annually, and benefits such as Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), or medical facilities will not be provided. TA-DA will be available solely for official travel, and engaging in any part-time work or business during employment is prohibited.
