Eligibility Criteria
**Who Can Apply?**
Applicants must meet one of the following educational qualifications:
**For B.E./B.Tech Holders**
- Degree in Electronics & Communication (ECE), Electronics & Telecommunication (ETE), Electronics & Instrumentation (EIE), Electronics Engineering, Electrical & Electronics (EEE), or Electrical Engineering (EE).
- First-class marks are essential.
- Must have completed coursework in VLSI Design, Embedded Systems, or Digital Signal Processing.
- A valid NET or GATE score is required.
**For M.E./M.Tech Holders**
- Bachelor's and Master's degrees in the relevant engineering fields.
- First-class marks at both Bachelor's and Master's levels.
- Specialization in VLSI Design, Embedded Systems, or Digital Signal Processing.
**Age Limit**
- Maximum age of 28 years as of the application deadline.
- Age relaxation is applicable for SC, ST, and OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates as per Government of India regulations.
Desirable Skills
Candidates with knowledge in the following technologies may have an advantage:
- VERILOG/VHDL
- FPGA
- Vivado
- Vitis IDE
Selection Process
Selection will be based on an interview. Shortlisted candidates will receive notifications regarding the interview details via post and email.
DRDO will create a panel of selected candidates, valid for one year from the announcement of results. This panel may be used to fill current and future vacancies.
Important Conditions
Applicants currently employed in government departments, PSUs, or autonomous institutions must apply through the appropriate channels.
A "No Objection Certificate" (NOC) must be presented during the interview.
Individuals who have previously held a JRF position at any DRDO facility are ineligible to apply.
This fellowship is temporary and does not guarantee permanent employment with DRDO.
