Candidates who have applied for the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) Junior Engineer (JE) recruitment for 2026 can now download their exam city intimation slip. This slip is accessible on the official SSC website, enabling candidates to determine their assigned examination city and make necessary travel arrangements.

Exam Schedule

The SSC JE recruitment examination is scheduled to take place from November 2 to November 6, 2026, at various exam centers nationwide. The city slip will also indicate the specific date for each candidate's examination.

Steps to Download the City Slip

To obtain the SSC JE exam city slip for 2026, follow these steps:

1. Visit the official SSC website.

2. Click on 'Login' on the homepage.

3. Enter your registration number, password, and the verification code, then click 'Login'.

4. The city slip will be displayed on your screen, ready for download.

Exam Format

The first paper of the SSC JE recruitment will consist of three sections, with candidates allotted two hours to complete it. The paper includes 50 questions each from General Intelligence & Reasoning and General Awareness, plus 100 questions on General Engineering. Each correct answer earns 1 mark, while 0.25 marks are deducted for incorrect responses.

Admit Card Information

It is important to note that the exam city slip is not an admit card. Admit cards will be released separately, expected to be available 2 to 3 days prior to the examination date. Therefore, candidates should anticipate the release of their admit cards around October 30 or 31.
