Program Goals and Structure
Launched in the 2022-23 academic session, the VCIS aims to connect theoretical knowledge with practical experience. It offers undergraduates and postgraduates a comprehensive view of university and governmental functions.
Internship Categories Offered
The VCIS provides two types of internships:
- Part-Time Internship (6 months during the academic session)
- Hours: 8-10 hours weekly
 - Stipend: ₹5,775 monthly

 - Full-Time Summer Internship (2 months)

This arrangement allows students to select an internship that aligns with their academic commitments and career aspirations.
Next Steps for Interns
Students should keep an eye on the official DU VCIS portal for the announcement of the final selection list. Once selected, interns will receive details about their placements and orientation for their designated offices.
Benefits of the VCIS
The VCIS not only offers financial support through stipends but also provides students with valuable hands-on experience in university administration, boosting their professional skills and employability.
This initiative is increasingly popular among Delhi University students as it effectively bridges the gap between academic learning and practical administrative exposure, preparing them for future careers in both academic and administrative fields.
