The selection process for the Delhi University's Vice Chancellor Internship Scheme (VCIS) for 2025-26 is nearing completion, with 2,280 students shortlisted from over 3,500 applications. Group discussions have concluded, and the final list of selected candidates will be announced soon. Interns will gain valuable experience across more than 55 offices, with both part-time and full-time internship options available. Delhi University VC Internship 2025: The selection phase for the highly awaited Vice Chancellor Internship Scheme (VCIS) for the academic year 2025-26 is nearing completion. This year, there was significant interest in the program, with 2,280 candidates selected from a pool of over 3,500 applications.


Group Discussions and Final Selection

Prof. Ranjan Kumar Tripathi, the Dean of Students' Welfare, announced that group discussions for the shortlisted candidates took place from October 13 to 15, 2025, and have now concluded. The final list of selected interns will be published shortly after the completion of the selection process.


Internship Opportunities Across Multiple Offices

Internship Placements:
Chosen interns will be assigned to over 55 offices within Delhi University, allowing them to acquire practical experience in both administrative and academic operations. The VCIS was initiated in the 2022-23 academic year, aiming to provide undergraduate and postgraduate students with real-world exposure to university and government operations.


Internship Categories and Stipends

Internship Types:

  • Part-time internship (6 months during the academic session) – 8-10 hours of work per week, with a stipend of ₹5,775 per month.
  • Full-time summer internship (2 months) – 20 hours of work per week, with a stipend of ₹11,000 per month.

The university administration emphasizes that this initiative will not only enhance students' practical skills but also deepen their understanding of leadership, communication, and organizational dynamics.
