Overview of DU's New Admission Process

DU Admission 2026: In a groundbreaking move, Delhi University has initiated admissions for its inaugural one-year postgraduate program. This initiative aligns with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, providing a quicker pathway to a master's degree for graduates who have completed the university's four-year undergraduate curriculum.

The admission process commenced on July 5 and is exclusively available to Delhi University students who have finished the four-year Undergraduate Curriculum Framework (UGCF) 2022. The university has indicated that entry into this one-year postgraduate program will be based on merit, necessitating a four-year bachelor's degree along with the completion of specific course prerequisites.

Additional Course Offerings

DU also invites applications for the M.Sc. Biotechnology course.

Applications are being accepted through the postgraduate admission portal. This development signifies a major step in the university's execution of NEP 2020.
