The SSC has revised the number of vacancies initially announced in the Delhi Police Recruitment notification, leading to a decrease in available positions. Current Recruitment Figures:
The SSC will now be recruiting for a total of 7,201 positions as part of the Delhi Police Recruitment 2025. Initially, the SSC had published a notification in September 2025 for the Delhi Police (Executive) Recruitment, inviting applications for 7,565 positions across various roles. The written examination for these roles has already taken place. However, on February 25th, the SSC announced a reduction in the number of available posts, bringing the total down to 7,201.

Details of Vacancy Reductions:
In the initial recruitment drive, the SSC had called for applications for 737 driver positions within the Delhi Police, but this number has now been decreased to 660. Similarly, the number of HCM positions has been reduced from 509 to 457. Additionally, the recruitment for AWO/TPO positions has also seen a cut, dropping from 552 to 443.
