Delhi Police Constable Executive Physical Test Overview

The Delhi Police has opened up a significant opportunity for individuals seeking government employment as constables. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has initiated a recruitment campaign for 7,565 constable executive roles, which is part of the Delhi Police Centralized Police Organization (CPO). The online application process commenced on September 22nd, with 2,496 positions specifically reserved for women. Following this announcement, many young aspirants are keen to understand the physical criteria necessary for application.

Eligibility Criteria for Delhi Police Constable

To qualify for the 7,565 constable positions, candidates must have completed their 12th grade from a recognized educational institution. Additionally, male applicants are required to possess a valid driving license. The age limit for candidates is set between 18 and 25 years as of July 1, 2025. Specifically, those born between July 2, 2000, and July 1, 2007, are eligible. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as follows:

SC/ST: 5 years (up to 30 years)

OBC: 3 years (up to 28 years)

Sportsperson: 5/10 years

Height Requirements for Delhi Police Constable

Both male and female candidates must meet specific height standards to apply for the Constable Executive position. Male applicants should have a minimum height of 170 cm and a chest measurement of 81-85 cm (with a 4 cm expansion). Candidates from Scheduled Tribes in hilly regions and children of current/retired/deceased Delhi Police personnel are granted a 5 cm height and chest relaxation. Female candidates must stand at least 157 cm tall, with a 2 cm relaxation for daughters of SC/ST and Delhi Police employees.
