Delhi Police Constable Recruitment 2025: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially announced the recruitment for Delhi Police Constables in 2025. The application process is now open for a total of 7,565 constable positions. Candidates who have completed their 12th grade are eligible to apply. The selection process will include a written examination, followed by a physical test and a race.

Application Deadline:
Interested candidates can submit their applications until October 21st. Both male and female applicants are welcome, with 5,069 positions allocated for men and 2,496 for women. The application fee can be paid until October 22nd.


Eligibility Criteria

Educational and Age Requirements:
To qualify for the Delhi Police Constable Recruitment 2025, candidates must have completed their 12th grade. The age limit for applicants is set between 18 and 25 years as of July 1, 2025. Age relaxation will be provided for candidates belonging to reserved categories as per constitutional provisions.


Selection Process

Examination Structure:
After the application phase, a Computer-Based Test (CBT) will be conducted. This will be followed by a physical efficiency test (PET) and a physical measurement test (PMT). Male candidates must complete a 1600-meter run in 6 minutes, while female candidates have 8 minutes for the same distance. Additionally, male candidates need to jump 14 feet long and 3.9 feet high, whereas female candidates must jump 10 feet long and 3 feet high.


Subsequently, a medical examination will take place. The physical tests are qualifying, and the final merit list will be based on the written exam scores. Candidates with an NCC certificate will receive an additional 5% in the merit list.


Written Exam Pattern

Exam Format:
The written examination for the Delhi Constable Recruitment 2025 will consist of 100 questions, divided as follows: 50 questions on general knowledge, 25 on reasoning, 15 on numerical ability, and 10 on computer knowledge. Each question carries one mark, and incorrect answers will incur a penalty of 0.25 marks.
