Exciting Opportunity for 12th Pass Candidates: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has initiated the application process for 7,565 Constable (Executive) roles in the Delhi Police. This recruitment is open to both male and female candidates, with 5,069 positions allocated for men and 2,496 for women. The last date to submit applications is October 21, 2025, while the fee payment must be completed by October 22. Candidates will have a window for application corrections from October 29 to 31.


Reserved Positions Breakdown

Distribution of Positions:
The recruitment drive allocates 4,408 positions for male candidates, 285 for male ex-servicemen, 376 for ex-servicemen commandos, and 2,496 for female candidates. The total of 7,565 posts includes 3,174 for the General category, 756 for EWS, 1,608 for OBC, 1,386 for SC, and 641 for ST.


Eligibility Requirements

Educational Qualifications:
Candidates must have completed at least 10+2 (Intermediate). For specific roles like Bandsmen, Buglers, Mounted Constables, Drivers, Dispatch Riders, and sons of police officers, an 11th pass is acceptable. Male applicants must also possess a valid LMV (motorcycle or car) driving license.


Age Criteria:
Applicants should be aged between 18 and 25 years as of July 1, 2025. Age relaxation is applicable for candidates from reserved categories as per government norms.


Selection Process Details

Stages of Selection:
The selection process will commence with a Computer-Based Written Test (CBT), followed by a Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Measurement Test (PMT), and a medical examination. It is crucial to note that the final selection will be determined solely by the written exam scores, with the PET and PMT serving as qualifying tests.


Written Exam Structure

Exam Format:
The written examination will feature 100 questions, each worth 1 mark. The breakdown includes 50 questions on general knowledge, 25 on reasoning, 15 on numerical ability, and 10 on computer knowledge. There will be negative marking, with a deduction of 0.25 marks for incorrect answers.


Physical Test Requirements

Physical Standards:
Male candidates must complete a 1600-meter run in 6 minutes, along with a 14-foot long jump and a 3.9-foot high jump. Female candidates are required to finish a 1600-meter run in 8 minutes, a 10-foot long jump, and a 3-foot high jump.


Bonus Points for NCC Certificate Holders

Additional Points:
Candidates holding NCC certificates can earn bonus points as follows:
- NCC C Certificate: 5% additional points
- NCC B Certificate: 3% additional points
- NCC A Certificate: 2% additional points


Salary and Application Fees

Compensation:
Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹21,700 to ₹69,100 under Level 3. The application fee is ₹100, applicable only to General and OBC male candidates. Women, SC/ST candidates, and eligible ex-servicemen are exempt from this fee. Payments can only be made online via net banking, BHIM UPI, or debit/credit cards.
