Educational Requirements
Senior Personal Assistant: Candidates must hold a degree from a recognized university. They should also have an English shorthand speed of 110 words per minute and a typing speed of 40 words per minute on a computer, along with basic computer skills.
Personal Assistant: Applicants for this role must also be graduates, requiring an English shorthand speed of 100 words per minute and a typing speed of 40 words per minute on a computer.
Age Criteria
The age range for applicants is set between 18 and 32 years. Relaxations in the upper age limit will be provided for candidates from reserved categories.
Examination Stages
Stage I: English Typing Test
A 10-minute English typing test will be conducted on a computer to evaluate the candidate's typing speed, with a minimum requirement of 40 words per minute. The speed will be calculated based on "Characters with Spaces," allowing a maximum error rate of 3%. Only those who pass this stage will proceed to Stage II.
Stage II: English Shorthand Test
Candidates will be required to transcribe a dictated passage of 550 words at a speed of 110 words per minute within 45 minutes. An error margin of 5% is allowed, with penalties for errors affecting the final score.
Stage III: Main Descriptive Examination
This stage will consist of an English Language examination worth 100 marks, covering various components such as essay writing, letter writing, grammar, and translation tasks. The minimum qualifying marks are 50% for the general category and 45% for reserved categories.
Stage IV: Interview
The interview will carry a maximum of 15 marks, with no minimum qualifying score required.

Candidates will undergo similar stages as outlined for the Senior Personal Assistant, with specific marks allocated for each stage and a focus on typing and shorthand skills.
