Vacancy Information

According to the DSSSB notification, there are 25 temporary vacancies available for the positions of Safai Karamchari and Chowkidar, with 10 and 15 posts respectively. The number of vacancies may change based on departmental needs.


Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have completed the 10th standard from a recognized board. No prior work experience is required for these roles. The cut-off date for educational qualifications is November 11, 2026.


Age Limit: Applicants must be aged between 18 and 27 years as of June 1, 2026. Age relaxation is available for reserved categories, including 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, and varying years for PwD candidates.


Application Fee Structure

The application fee is ₹100 for candidates belonging to General, OBC, and EWS categories. However, female candidates, SC/ST, PwD, and ex-servicemen are exempt from this fee. Payments must be made online through SBI e-Pay, and once paid, the fee is non-refundable.


Selection Process

Candidates will be selected based on an objective test followed by an interview. The written exam will take place on a Monday, with the interview worth 15 marks. Generally, candidates will have 20 minutes for the exam, while PwD candidates will receive 160 minutes. Scoring will be one mark for each correct answer, with a penalty of 0.25 marks for incorrect responses.
