CRPF Recruitment Announcement

The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has released a recruitment notification for the positions of Head Constable (GD) and Constable (GD). This recruitment will be conducted under the sports quota, with applications opening on October 12. Interested candidates can submit their applications online through the official website, rect.crpf.gov.in. The last date for application submission is November 11, 2026, and candidates will have the opportunity to correct any errors in their applications from November 12 to November 24, 2026.

Vacancies Overview

This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 521 vacancies, which includes 182 positions for Head Constable (GD) and 339 for Constable (GD).

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have completed Class 10 for the Constable position and Class 12 for the Head Constable (GD) role. Additionally, applicants should have represented their team in the relevant sport.

Sports Eligibility Requirements

To qualify, candidates must have represented a state or union territory in international sports competitions or national games/championships. They should have secured a medal (at least third place) in National Games organized by the IOA. Alternatively, candidates can qualify by winning a medal or achieving third place in events such as Inter-University tournaments, Junior/Senior National Games/Championships, State School Teams, All India Police Games, Inter-University Games, Khelo India Youth Games, or Khelo India Winter Games. Those who have earned a gold or silver medal for their university in Inter-University tournaments or championships are also eligible.

Age Limit

Candidates must be aged between 18 and 23 years to apply for this recruitment. Relaxation in the upper age limit will be provided for candidates from reserved categories. The age will be calculated as of August 1, 2026.

Selection Process and Salary Structure

The selection process will include an identity check, document verification, Physical Standard Test (PST), sports trial test, medical examination (ME), and review medical examination (RME).

Selected candidates for the Head Constable (General Duty) – Sportsperson position will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹25,500 to ₹81,100 (Level 4), while those chosen for the Constable (General Duty) – Sportsperson role will earn between ₹21,700 and ₹69,100.
