New Delhi: A significant update has emerged for candidates awaiting the Central Bank of India's apprentice recruitment results. The bank has officially announced the results for the recruitment examination conducted for 4,500 positions. Candidates who participated in the online exam held on July 5, 2026, can now check their results on the official website. Along with the results, the next steps for the selected candidates have also been outlined. The bank has made it clear that shortlisted candidates must report to their designated regional offices on the specified date. Following this, document verification, local language proficiency tests, and other formalities will be conducted.
Candidates Selected for Next Phase
A total of 4,500 apprentice positions were advertised during this recruitment drive. After the online examination, 3,655 candidates have been shortlisted for the next phase. The names of the selected candidates are included in the result list published by the bank. These candidates must complete the subsequent processes in a timely manner.
Reporting Dates for Regional Offices
According to the bank's notification, selected candidates are required to report to their assigned regional offices on either July 30 or July 31, 2026. During this time, document verification, local language proficiency assessments, and joining formalities will be completed. The apprenticeship training is set to commence on August 1, 2026.
Documents Required for Reporting
When arriving at the regional office, candidates should bring all original educational certificates, self-attested copies, KYC documents, call letters, medical fitness certificates, four recent passport-sized photographs, and any other essential documents requested by the bank. Any missing documents may hinder the process.
12-Month Training with Stipend
Selected candidates will undergo a 12-month apprenticeship training program. During this period, each trainee will receive a stipend of ₹15,000 per month. Upon completion of the training, candidates will gain practical experience in banking operations, which can be beneficial for their careers.

To check their results, candidates should first visit the official website of the Central Bank of India. Next, they should navigate to the Recruitment section and click on the link titled 'Declaration of Result – Engagement of Apprentices FY 2026-27'. By using Ctrl+F in the PDF file, candidates can search for their roll numbers. It is also advisable to download and save a copy of the result for future reference.
