Overview: The Central Bank of India (CBI) has opened applications for the position of Assistant General Manager (AGM), with a total of 15 vacancies available. Eligibility Criteria:
- AGM (Risk Management): Bachelor's degree in Statistics/Economics or MBA in Finance/Banking, along with FRM/CFA/PRM certification and 10 years of banking experience, including 5 years in Risk Management.
- AGM (Compliance/Risk): Same qualifications as above, with 10 years of banking experience, including 5 years in Compliance or Risk.
- AGM (Asset Liability Management): BE/B.A Tech degree or Postgraduate degree or Chartered Accountant, with 10 years of banking experience.
- AGM (Digital Risk and Analytics): Degree in Mathematics/Statistics or IT/Computer Science, with 10 years of banking experience and knowledge of Digital Risk.
- AGM (Finance and Accounts): Chartered Accountant with 10 years of banking experience, knowledgeable in Taxation, GST, and Balance Sheets.
- AGM (Credit Officer): Chartered Accountant/CFA/CMA or Postgraduate degree in Finance, with 10 years of experience, including 7 years in loans/finance.

All candidates must be aged between 33 and 45 years as of March 31, 2026. Age relaxation applies for reserved categories: 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC.

Selection Process:
The recruitment process includes two stages: an online examination followed by an interview. Meeting the eligibility criteria does not guarantee an invitation to the examination or interview. Approximately four times the number of vacancies will be shortlisted for interviews based on online exam performance. The final selection will weigh the examination at 70% and the interview at 30%. In case of a tie, the older candidate will be prioritized.

Application Fee:
- ₹175 for SC/ST, Persons with Disabilities, and women candidates (intimation charges only).
- ₹850 for all other candidates (application fee plus intimation charges).

Salary Structure:
The initial basic salary is ₹120,940 per month, with annual increments. The first two years see an increase of ₹3,360 annually, followed by ₹3,680 for the next two years, leading to a maximum basic salary of approximately ₹135,020 per month.
