Eligibility Criteria

Candidates interested in applying should meet the following qualifications:



  • For Director of Instruction: A doctorate in agricultural science, horticulture, home science, agricultural engineering, fisheries, or veterinary science.


  • For Dean, Professor, and Chairperson: A PhD in a relevant field, including basic sciences.


  • For Veterinary Science roles: A B.V.Sc. and A.H. degree with at least 55% marks, along with a master's degree with 55% marks.


  • For Associate Professor: A doctorate in a relevant subject and teaching or research experience.


  • For Assistant Professor: A master's degree with a minimum of 55% marks and a PhD in the subject, along with published research papers in recognized journals.



Age Limit and Application Fee

The age limits for applicants are as follows:



  • Assistant Professor: Maximum age of 40 years


  • Associate Professor: Maximum age of 50 years


  • Professor: Maximum age of 55 years



Age relaxation will be applicable for candidates from reserved categories as per government norms.


Regarding the application fee, there is no charge for SC, ST, PwBD, and female candidates. General and OBC candidates are required to pay ₹1,000.
