The Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC) has made a significant announcement regarding the Second Inter-Level Recruitment for 2025, introducing an additional 10,976 positions. Candidates who have previously submitted their applications do not need to reapply. The application process commenced in November 2023, initially offering 12,199 positions.


Application Process

Steps to Apply:


1. Visit the BSSC official website at www.onlinebssc.com.


2. Click on the link for the Inter-Level Combined Competitive Examination-2025 application.


3. Choose the 'New Registration' option.


4. Fill out the registration form with the necessary details.


5. After registering, log into your account.


6. Upload the required documents.


7. Pay the application fee as specified.


8. Submit the application form.


9. Print a copy of the application form for your records.

Eligibility Criteria

Qualifications Required:


Candidates must have completed their 12th standard. The age requirements are as follows:



  • Unreserved males: 18-37 years


  • Unreserved females: 18-40 years


  • Relaxation in the upper age limit may apply for candidates from reserved categories.



Application Fees

Fee Structure:


Candidates from General, OBC, EWS, and other state categories are required to pay ₹100. SC, ST, OBC, and female candidates also have a fee of ₹100.


Selection Process

Selection Stages:


The selection will consist of three stages:



  1. Preliminary Examination


  2. Main Examination


  3. Skill Test



Exam Pattern

Details of the Preliminary Exam:


The prelims will feature 150 objective-type questions covering topics such as general knowledge, science, mathematics, and mental ability. The exam duration is 2 hours and 15 minutes, and negative marking will be applied, with 1 mark deducted for each incorrect answer.

Qualifying Marks by Category

Minimum Qualifying Marks:



  • General: 40%


  • OBC: 36.5%


  • Extremely Backward Class: 34%


  • SC, ST: 32%
