Out of these, 540 positions will be filled through direct recruitment under the sports quota.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants for these positions must have completed at least the 10th grade from a recognized educational board. The BSF has specified that if an athlete has multiple medals from the same event, only the highest-ranking medal will be considered for evaluation.

Age Limit and Salary Structure

Applicants must be aged between 18 and 23 years as of August 1, 2025. Age relaxation will be provided to candidates from reserved categories in accordance with Central Government regulations. Selected individuals will receive a monthly salary ranging from Rs. 21,700 to Rs. 69,100, along with additional allowances.

Selection Process

The selection process will include a physical test, sports skill assessment, document verification, and a medical examination.
