Bihar Public Service Commission's New Complaint System

BPSC Exams 2025: The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has launched a revamped grievance redressal mechanism for candidates participating in competitive exams. The Commission has made it clear that any complaints deemed superficial, fabricated, or artificial that compromise the integrity of the examination will not be entertained.

Candidates can now submit complaints based solely on genuine evidence. This initiative aims to enhance the transparency of the examination process and prevent unfounded allegations.

This facility is specifically available for candidates of the Clerk Main (Objective) Competitive Examination, allowing them to report any irregularities or malpractices encountered at their designated examination centers or halls.

Procedure for Filing a Complaint

1. Visit the BPSC Online Application Portal.

2. Log in using your Username and Password.

3. Navigate to the 'GRIEVANCE' dropdown on the dashboard and select 'Exam Malpractice'. Fill in the complaint details, upload necessary evidence or certificates, and include an affidavit.

4. Submit the complaint after ensuring all information is complete.

Guidelines for Complaint Submission

Candidates must file their complaints within 48 hours after the exam concludes. An affidavit is mandatory; complaints lacking this document will be disregarded. The complaint should detail the alleged irregularity or malpractice, including evidence, the time of the incident, and names of involved individuals (if known). Complaints that are vague, incomplete, or lack supporting evidence will not be accepted.

Investigation Process and Consequences

Only candidates who took the exam are permitted to file complaints; third parties are not allowed to do so. Strict actions will be enforced against those who submit false, misleading, or rumor-based complaints. Complaints will be investigated by the district officer, the center superintendent, or the district's nodal officer within 72 hours. The investigation will rely on the evidence provided by candidates, CCTV footage from the examination center, and statements from the invigilators.
