The last recruitment for librarian roles in Bihar occurred in 2011-12, leaving many schools and colleges without permanent staff to manage their libraries. Eligibility Criteria

Qualifications Required:

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in library science with a minimum of 45% marks. There will be a 5% relaxation for reserved categories, women, and disabled candidates, allowing them to qualify with 40% marks. Additionally, candidates must have passed the eligibility test.

Age Requirements

Age Limit:

The minimum age for applicants is set at 21 years. Notably, a new rule allows for a 10-year relaxation in the maximum age limit, benefiting those whose ages have increased since the last recruitment. Furthermore, 35% of the total positions will be reserved for women, providing significant opportunities for female candidates in the state.
