The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has officially launched the application process for the Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) 2025. Candidates interested in teaching positions can submit their applications online until September 16, 2025. The examination is scheduled to take place in Computer-Based Test (CBT) format from October 4 to October 25, with results expected to be announced on November 1. Applications must be submitted through the official website at secondary.biharboardonline.com.

Application Timeline:



  • Start Date: September 8, 2025


  • End Date: September 16, 2025



To be eligible, candidates should possess either a Graduate (UG) or Postgraduate (PG) degree in the relevant subject with a minimum of 50% marks. Additionally, a BEd/MEd or a four-year BA BEd/BSc BEd degree from an NCTE recognized institution is required.

Fee Structure:



  • General, BC, EWS candidates: ₹960 (one paper), ₹1440 (both papers)


  • SC, ST, PH candidates: ₹760 (one paper), ₹1140 (both papers)



Age Limit Details

Maximum Age Limit:


The upper age limit for general candidates is set at 37 years. However, there are relaxations available:



  • 3 years for Female, BC, and MBC candidates


  • 5 years for SC/ST candidates


  • Up to 10 years for Divyang candidates
