BSSC Recruitment for Office Attendant Positions



The Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC) has initiated the online application process for a significant number of Office Attendant / Parichari (Special) positions. This presents an excellent opportunity for individuals who have completed their 10th grade and aspire to secure a government job. Interested candidates can apply by visiting the official BSSC website. The application window will remain open until September 24, 2025.


Eligibility Criteria


Candidates wishing to apply for the Office Attendant roles must have completed their 10th grade or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution. The age requirements are as follows: candidates must be at least 18 years old, with a maximum age limit of 37 years for unreserved males, 40 years for both backward class and extremely backward class candidates (male and female), 40 years for unreserved females, and 42 years for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates. Additionally, candidates with disabilities are allowed an extra 10 years.

To apply, candidates should first visit onlinebssc.com. They can register by clicking on the registration link and providing the necessary information. After registration, candidates can log in to upload their details, including their signature and photograph.


Once the application form is completed, candidates must pay the required fee, submit the form, and print a copy for their records.


Application Fees


For this recruitment, candidates from the unreserved OBC category outside Bihar must pay a fee of Rs 540. Meanwhile, SC, ST, disabled, and female candidates across all categories will have a reduced fee of Rs 135.


Selection Process


The selection will be based on a written examination consisting of objective-type questions. The test will include 100 questions, with 4 marks awarded for each correct answer and a deduction of 1 mark for each incorrect answer. The subjects covered will include General Mathematics, General Knowledge, and General Hindi. A total of 3727 positions will be filled through this recruitment.
