Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must possess an LLB (Bachelor of Laws) degree from a university recognized by the Bar Council of India. Additionally, proof of recognition from the Bar Council during the applicant's study period is required, which must be certified by the Principal or an authorized officer of the institution.
Experience Requirements:
Applicants should have a minimum of 3 years of advocacy experience as of the application date. This experience is calculated from the date of enrollment with the State Bar Council. A certificate of practice must be obtained from either the Principal District Judge or a certified advocate with at least 10 years of experience. Candidates who have practiced in a High Court or the Supreme Court must secure their certificate from an experienced advocate. Experience as a Law Clerk will also be considered.
Selection Process:
The selection for the Bihar Judicial Service Competitive Examination will involve three stages: Preliminary Examination, Main Examination, and Interview. Candidates must pass each stage to advance to the next. The final selection will be based on overall performance and the resulting merit list.
