The SHSB recruitment encompasses various medical specialties, including:

Candidates must hold an MBBS degree from an accredited institution, along with an MD, MS, DNB, or relevant diploma in their specialty. Registration with the Bihar Medical Council or the National Medical Commission (NMC) is also required. The age requirements are as follows:

Minimum age: 21 years

Maximum age: 37 years for unreserved/EWS male candidates

40 years for Backward Classes/Extremely Backward Classes and unreserved female candidates
