Introduction to Free Coaching Initiative

New Delhi: The competition for JEE and NEET is intensifying, yet not every student can afford expensive coaching. To address this issue, the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has introduced a free coaching program for students. This initiative will offer both residential and non-residential coaching options, specifically aimed at students in Bihar aspiring to excel in engineering or medical fields.

Details of the Coaching Program

The BSEB coaching program is set for the academic sessions of 2026-2028. Interested candidates can apply online from November 20 to November 30. Selection will be based on a written examination and an interview process. Residential students will receive free education, accommodation, and meals, while non-residential students will be awarded a monthly scholarship of ₹1,000, totaling ₹24,000 over two years.

Application Process for BSEB Free Coaching

Students who will pass their 10th-grade exams in 2026 and wish to continue their studies in Bihar are eligible to apply. Applications can be submitted through the online link provided by BSEB. After the application phase, selection will be determined based on the scores from the written exam and interview. A merit list will be published, followed by counseling and document verification.

Residential and Non-Residential Options

Each batch will accommodate 50 male and 50 female students. Those in the residential program will enjoy free education, lodging, and meals. Expert teachers will conduct the coaching, and monthly mock tests will be organized. Non-residential students will receive training at their nearest coaching centers and will also benefit from the scholarship.

Scholarship Benefits

Non-residential students will receive a monthly scholarship of ₹1,000, accumulating to ₹24,000 over two years. This financial support will alleviate the burden of costly coaching, allowing students to focus on high-quality preparation.
