Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess a Postgraduate (PG) Degree in the relevant specialty. If there are insufficient PG degree holders, candidates with a Diploma may also be considered, but they will receive 10 marks less than PG degree holders in the merit list.

Candidates with equivalent PG qualifications recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI) are also eligible.

40% of positions will be filled by Bihar State Health Service cadre members, 40% by doctors who completed their postgraduate degree in-state, and 20% by those from recognized institutions outside Bihar.
