Official Notification for Credit Officer Recruitment

The Bank of India has issued a formal announcement regarding the hiring of Credit Officers. As per the notification, the application process for 514 available positions will commence on December 20th. Candidates interested in these roles can submit their applications until January 5th, 2026. Eligible individuals are encouraged to apply through the official website.

Age Requirements

Candidates' ages will be assessed as of November 1st, 2025. The minimum age for applicants is set at 25, 28, and 30 years, while the maximum age limits are 35, 38, and 40 years, respectively. Additionally, age relaxation is available for candidates from specific categories: SC and ST applicants will receive a five-year extension, while OBC candidates will benefit from a three-year extension.

Salary Structure

The salary ranges for the positions are as follows:

Grade Scale-II: ₹67,160 to ₹93,960 per month

Grade Scale-III: ₹99,320 to ₹1,05,280 per month

Grade Scale-IV: ₹1,14,220 to ₹1,20,940 per month

Selection Procedure

The selection of candidates for the Credit Officer roles will be based on a written examination. This exam will feature 150 multiple-choice questions, totaling 150 marks, and will cover topics such as English Language, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, and the relevant subject matter. The exam duration is two hours, and there will be a penalty of one-fourth of a mark for each incorrect answer. Candidates who perform well in this examination will be invited for an interview.

Application Fee Details
