Official Notification Released for Junior Engineer Posts

The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has issued a notification regarding the recruitment of Junior Engineers in the Public Health Engineering Department, as per Advt. No. 27/2025. Interested candidates can submit their applications on apsc.nic.in from August 14 to September 13, 2025. The deadline for fee payment is September 15, 2025.

This recruitment initiative aims to fill a total of 187 Junior Engineer positions, which include 160 for Junior Engineer (Civil), 10 for Junior Engineer (Mechanical), 10 for Junior Engineer (Chemical), and 7 for Junior Engineer (Electrical).

Age Limit: Candidates must be between 18 to 40 years old as of January 1, 2025. The upper age limit is relaxed for candidates belonging to reserved categories.

For applicants from unreserved categories, the application fee is set at Rs 297.20. Those belonging to OBC/MOBC categories will need to pay Rs 197.20, while candidates from SC/ST/BPL/PwBD categories are required to pay a fee of Rs 47.20.
