The application window for Assistant roles at the Reserve Bank of India is closing soon. Candidates who have yet to submit their applications can do so by visiting the official RBI website. This recruitment drive aims to fill 650 positions. Interested individuals must apply by March 8th to be considered.

Eligibility Criteria

The age of applicants will be determined as of February 1, 2026. The minimum age requirement is 20 years, while the maximum age limit is set at 28 years.

Age relaxation is applicable for candidates from reserved categories: SC and ST applicants will receive a five-year extension, OBC candidates will have a three-year extension, and those with disabilities will benefit from a ten-year extension.

Candidates must hold a graduation degree with at least 50% marks to qualify for the Assistant positions.

Selection Process

The selection will involve a preliminary exam, a main exam, and a language proficiency test. The preliminary exam will consist of 100 questions covering English, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning, with each question worth 100 marks. This exam will last for one hour. Successful candidates will then proceed to the main examination, which will total 200 marks.

Salary Details

Selected candidates will earn a monthly salary ranging from ₹29,000 to ₹78,640.

Application Fee

Candidates belonging to General, OBC, and EWS categories are required to pay a registration fee of ₹450, while SC, ST, and differently-abled candidates will pay ₹50.

The RBI has scheduled the preliminary examination for April 11th, with the main examination set for June 7th, 2026.
