AIIMS CRE-5 Recruitment 2026: Exciting news for those who have completed Class 12 and are seeking government job opportunities! The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has announced a significant recruitment initiative for Group B and Group C positions. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals eager to enter the medical sector. The recruitment will be conducted via the Common Recruitment Examination-5 (CRE-5), with AIIMS New Delhi offering 1,484 positions across 28 institutes. Interested candidates can submit their applications online until July 3, 2026.


Participating Institutes in CRE-5

The CRE-5 examination simplifies the application process for candidates. Instead of filling out multiple forms or paying separate fees for each AIIMS institute, applicants only need to take one exam. Based on their performance, they can secure a position in any of the 28 participating institutes, which include AIIMS New Delhi, Bhopal, Patna, Gorakhpur, Rishikesh, Bathinda, Nagpur, ICMR, and Lady Hardinge Medical College.


Diverse Recruitment Groups

This recruitment drive encompasses a variety of roles across 57 distinct groups. Positions available include Junior Administrative Officer, Assistant Dietician, Junior Engineer, Pharmacist, Nursing Officer, and Clerk.


Key Dates to Remember

The last date for online application submissions is July 3, 2026, by 5:00 PM. Candidates currently in government service must submit their No Objection Certificate (NOC) by July 6. The acceptance status of applications will be available on July 9, 2026. If all goes as planned, the Computer-Based Test (CBT) is scheduled for July 25 to July 27, 2026.


Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications: The qualifications required vary by position. Candidates who have completed Class 12 or hold a degree can apply for Clerk and Assistant roles, which require good typing skills. Specific qualifications are necessary for technical and medical positions, such as a diploma in Pharmacy for Pharmacists, a relevant degree for Junior Engineers, and a B.Sc. for Lab Technologists.


Age Limit: Most Group-C positions have an age limit of 18 to 30 years, while certain technical roles allow candidates up to 35 years. As per government regulations, SC/ST candidates receive a 5-year age relaxation, and OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates receive a 3-year relaxation.


Application Fees

Candidates from General and OBC categories must pay ₹3,000 to take the exam, while SC, ST, and EWS candidates are required to pay ₹2,400. Persons with disabilities (PwD) are exempt from the application fee. Additionally, SC/ST candidates will have their application fee refunded after the results are announced.
