It is important to note that if suitable candidates are not found for the Additional or Associate Professor roles, these positions may be filled at a lower rank (e.g., Assistant Professor) for a duration of 5 to 7 years.
Educational Qualifications
Applicants must have qualifications and experience recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI), the National Medical Commission (NMC), or the Government of India. Detailed qualifications are available in 'Annexure-A' on the institute's website, and experience will be calculated from the date of obtaining the required educational qualifications.

Salary Structure
Selected candidates will receive salaries according to the 7th Pay Commission, along with Non-Practicing Allowance (NPA) and other allowances for eligible positions.

Selection Process
Initially, applications will be reviewed. If there are a large number of applications, a written examination may be conducted to shortlist candidates. Those shortlisted will be invited for a personal interview, and final selection will depend on interview performance and medical fitness.
Additional Recruitment Information
Selected candidates will undergo a two-year probation period. These positions are full-time, and private practice is not allowed. The New Pension Scheme (NPS) will apply to the selected employees. Candidates are expected to join within 30 days of receiving the appointment letter. Updates regarding interviews and other details will be available on the institute's official website and sent to candidates' registered emails.

Application Process
The application procedure consists of two stages:
Stage 1: Candidates must complete the online Google Form by August 21, 2026.
Stage 2: Afterward, candidates should download the application form from the institute's website, fill it out in MS Word format, print it, and send it along with the required documents to the Recruitment Cell at AIIMS Bathinda via Speed Post or Registered Post.
