NTET 2026 City Intimation Slip: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially issued the City Intimation Slip for the upcoming National Teachers Eligibility Test (NTET 2026). The online application process began on March 11, with the final date for submissions being April 2, 2026.


The last date for fee payment was April 3, 2026. The examination is set to take place on April 28, 2026, and will be conducted in a Computer-Based Test (CBT) format, lasting 120 minutes (2 hours).


Important Note: City Intimation Slip vs. Admit Card
It is crucial for candidates to understand that the City Intimation Slip is not the same as the Admit Card. This slip merely indicates the city of the examination center. The actual Hall Tickets (Admit Cards) will be released separately at a later date.


How to Download the NTET City Intimation Slip
To obtain the City Intimation Slip, follow these steps:



  1. Visit the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA).


  2. Find and click on the link titled "NTET 2026 City Intimation Slip" on the homepage.


  3. You will be directed to the login page.


  4. Input your Application Number along with your Date of Birth or Password.


  5. Type in the security captcha code shown on the screen.


  6. Press the Submit/Login button.


  7. Your City Intimation Slip will be displayed on the screen.


  8. Download the slip, print it out, and keep it secure for future reference.

Eligibility Criteria for Application
Applicants who have completed postgraduate studies in Indian Systems of Medicine and Homeopathy and aspire to enter the teaching profession are eligible to take this examination. Additionally, candidates specializing in Ayurveda, Siddha, or Unani must have completed a minimum of 30 months of academic study, along with a mandatory one-year internship.
