Early Announcement of Results
This year, the board has opted to declare the Class 12 results in the first week of May for the first time. This initiative aims to provide students with timely opportunities for higher education admissions. The examinations also commenced earlier than usual, starting on February 10, compared to the typical late February schedule.

In 2024, approximately 1.5 million students registered for the HSC examinations, which were conducted across nine divisions in Maharashtra: Mumbai, Pune, Nashik, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Nagpur, Amravati, Kolhapur, Konkan, and Latur.
